Making gingerbread houses with our refugee friends!

Every weekday Good in the Hood members have the opportunity to tutor refugees living in a nearby apartment complex.

In May of 2010, Good in the Hood held a fundraiser on behalf of Chart Meredith, a 21-year-old boy who was in a car accident last November and was paralyzed from the waist down. All proceeds went to help with medical costs for his physical therapy.

In January, Good in the Hood members took their refugee friends bowling!

On Christmas Eve 2009, Good in the Hood members provided Christmas gifts to over 50 children who would have gone without Christmas otherwise.

On December 19th 2009, Good in the Hood members went shopping for gifts to give to refugee children for Christmas! The funds were provided by generous donors like you.

On December 2nd 2009, Good in the Hood held a Winter Fundraising Ball in which we provided dinner, entertainment, and dancing for many Good in the Hood supporters and their families. The evening was filled with good music, great food, and friendly company.

Several times in November 2009, Good in the Hood members took time out of their busy Saturday mornings to serve others by raking the leaves off their neighbors' lawn.
