"Good in the Hood" is a service group full of awesome members like you. Anyone who wants to join, can! We believe life is about helping others, building relationships and having fun all at the same time. We envision a community that is not full of people going their separate ways, with only time to worry about the daily grind. But a community full of friends, who take the the time to get to know each other and take care of each other.  We agree with George Washington when he said, "Happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected."

Cookie Night

Who doesn't love cookies? Once a month we meet at a Good in the Hood volunteer's house to deliver and eat cookies. But most importantly, we leave most the cookies for delivering to those who could use a hello and a treat in the neighborhood!

Yard Work

It's crazy to think that an hour or two out of your day can change someone's whole week. This is one of those " I didn't want to go, but I'm really happy I did" activities. If you want to see the definition of happiness just look at the face of an old widow when you knock on her door with a rake.

Parties and Fundraisers

Good in the Hood is not only geared towards helping others it is also geared towards meeting others. So along with doing all different kinds of service projects we will throw parties where we will fundraise for a good cause.
