"Good in the Hood" is a non-profit organization. Our ultimate goal is to strengthen our neighborhoods and communities. We believe the foundation of America begins not in the White House, but in your house and in your neighbor's house. We believe there is an organic connection between the individual, family and community. Each piece must be strong, and help each other in order for our country to be strong. We agree with George Washington when he said, "Happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected."

At Good in the Hood, we will strengthen our neighborhoods by seeking out those members of our community which are in need. When needed, we will provide the bare necessities for them, but most importantly, we will build relationships with whomever we serve.
